About the project:

Our schools (Grunnskoli Þorlákshafnar - Iceland / Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel Anadolu Lisesi-Ankara -Türkiye / Istıtuto Comprensıvo Novara Di Sicilia -Italy / 56th Junıor's High School Of Athens -Greece / Agrupamento de Escolas Trigal de Santa Maria-Tadim and Grunnskoli Þorlákshafnar -Portugal) plan to draw attention to the environment and climate change, digital transformation and increasing intercultural dialogue with all the festivals we will organize. We plan to demonstrate the importance of inclusion and diversity in all aspects of education, training, youth and sports. We want to show that one of the ways to realize these priorities is to involve immigrant students in democratic and social life and to reach participants with fewer opportunities by working together and having fun online. 

We decided to use festivals as a vehicle to remove cross-cultural boundaries, embrace pluralism, adopt a democratic culture, draw attention to climate change and contribute to digital transformation.

AIMS:

The objectives of the project are to:

-demonstrate the importance of inclusion and diversity in all aspects of education, training, youth and sports,

WORK PROCESS:

The project consists of six festivals to be held in five countries and a series of events to be held within these festivals. The progress, quality and success of the project will be monitored by the monitoring planThe project consists of six festivals to be held in five countries and a series of events to be held within these festivals. The progress, quality and success of the project will be monitored by the monitoring planThe monitoring plan will be created and implemented under the coordination of all partners. The monitoring plan will include the timelines to be prepared according to the dates of the six festivals that were discussed and decided at the beginning of the project, the necessary studies and measures to be taken for the realization of the planned activities of each festival, whether the activities were completed in the specified time, what were the missing activities and whether the activities were successful or not. According to the determined principles, each host partner is responsible for reporting the monitoring plan of the festival they are responsible for. Before and after the festival to be held, our host partner will arrange interviews with teachers and students to reveal their attitudes towards certain institutions, events, beliefs and similar things.At the beginning and at the end of the project, the attitude scale will be implemented by all partners. Monitoring will be done every four months. All reports will be collected in Grunnskólinn í Hveragerði.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

ErasmusFest it is aimed to create a profile of teachers and students who can be purified from all prejudices by entering a genuine dialogue on the way of getting to know and understanding each other, each of which is a different culture. It is aimed that the partners realize that the 'other' can actually be 'us' through the new friendships we will establish with sports, art and music by learning the dishes, music and folk dances of both themselves and different cultures. It is aimed that the partners who are a part of the project will learn to empathize and make it one of the common values of our institution. With the project, it is aimed to contribute to our democracy culture and human rights awareness by learning to work together, to listen, to respect, to respect different ideas and to learn that differences are our wealth. It is aimed that it will be good for the partners to make the gains permanent in the long run if they disseminate the international experiences they have gained through the festival activities in their own region and country...
